Short version: The AskMyTuto extension does not collect, store, or share any personal data. It reads only the YouTube URL of your active tab β€” solely to open that video inside the AskMyTuto app.

1. What the Extension Does

The AskMyTuto browser extension adds a button to YouTube video pages. When you click it, the extension reads the current tab's URL and opens the AskMyTuto web app with that video pre-loaded, so you can start an AI-assisted learning session immediately.

The extension contains no analytics, crash-reporting, telemetry, or advertising code. It does not track which videos you watch, how long you watch them, or any other browsing behaviour.

5. Data Handled by the AskMyTuto Web App

Once you are inside the AskMyTuto web application, the app's own Privacy Policy applies. The extension itself has no involvement in how the app processes video transcripts or your questions.

6. Third-Party Services

The extension does not load, embed, or communicate with any third-party service. No Google Analytics, Firebase, Sentry, or similar SDKs are bundled.
